Restarting with new /ini param

Hi guys,
I really like the new /ini command line param because I can keep my settings separate to the app and I can have >1 settings. Cool.
However, when I restart the app (either by File->Restarting without saving) or restarting as part installing a new version, the new XY instance doesn't honour the /ini parameter that closing down instance was started with. So, this means that after the restart XY looks like the first time I installed it with none of my settings, etc.
I can get around this by shutting down this new instance and starting it from my Quick Launch icon or whatever, but this is more effort for me and I'm lazy
So my wish: when restarting the app, could the newly starting XY instance use the command line of the closing down XY instance?
Cheers
