File List View Flashes to be Sorted Alphabetically After Nearly Every Action

UPDATE - Sorry, I updated the screenshots, I don't know why they appeared so blurry, but now they are huge!
I have an Inbox folder that I dump a ton of files into and the folder view is set to be sorted by modified date, newest to oldest; however, for the last 2 months or so, after nearly every action I make in the folder, whether I delete a file, drag a file to the tree or another tab, or simply click on a different tab and then click back on this folder's tab, the list will change from being sorted by modified date to being sorted alphabetically by name briefly, sometimes longer (as my PC needs to be replaced & sometimes can be really slow, but at best I'm talking a flash, at most a second). There are many times that after the files revert to the correct sorting by modified date and I select a file, and I am sure that I click the file with the proper filename, the file that opens, gets moved, or deleted is really a different file, or as I've determined, was the file that was in that same position in the file list when the list was in alphabetical order. I took a screen recording, but noticed that I couldn't attach it here. So, I've attached screenshots of the file list view sorted by modified date, the folder view settings and the configuration setting screens I thought were relevant. If someone could please tell me what could be causing this I'd really appreciate it. I thought I would have stumbled on the fix by now, but I haven't. I'm sure it is something silly.
