I cannot get to the OneDrive sharing screen. It activates but will not come to the foreground in Windows.

This is not a "complaint", it's just an FYI.

Strange. Looks like a OneDrive bug to me.

If it were a OneDrive bug, I can't explain how it would work as designed using Windows Files Explorer, and not XYPlorer.

Again I re-state...for me this is not a high priority problem - just an FYI. I can easily use File Explorer for the few times I need this function. I love the XYPlorer product and use extensively.

The bug could be that OneDrive is hardcoded to work with File Explorer only. Or hardcoded to work with 64-bit apps only.

I revisited this issue today, Mon, May 26, 2025 just for shitz & giggles.

Could not get context menu inside XYplorer to open an accessible window with the OneDrive Share interface providing share links to the cloud. It works perfectly either inside File Explorer or within the OneDrive icon interface on the desktop.

Also as an experiment, I reset XYPlorer to default when Windows opens folders — and the share function failed to show an accessible (only a widow in somewhere space) that showed the mini-frame window above the desktop icon. But this was interesting, it also made the functionality inside File Explorer and OneDrive icon interface on the desktop also fail exactly the same way.

My workaround is just to create a button or menu item to open the folder in File Explorer. I think Admin was right. Microsoft is holding that function locked in its apps.

Thanks for your attempts to resolve this issue. My bet would be that OneDrive sharing interface only works with 64 bit apps???

Maybe. We will soon find out.
