Show Folder Sizes Button no longer works as desired

The newest version makes the standard button Show Folder Sizes useless.
It only toggles the size for the current entry.
How can I now simply have global no sizes calculated ?
Its even worse
Now it starts to calculate folder sizes on start-up, and I must stop it with ESC

Describe it with more detail. Button on or off or both?

PS: I found this bug and fixed it:

Code: Select all

! Tools | Customize List | Show Folder Sizes: Since v26.20.0205, disabling this toggle
did not do it for all folders in the list but just for the first one. Fixed.

Version 26.20.0205
Simple problem first
XY now does folder calculation for the whole list in start-up.
I don't want this, and it was never doing it until the latest update.
I tried the context menu of the size column but switching it off is not permanent.
The Button Show folder sizes did this in the past
it simply toggled calculation and displaying anything in the size column.

So what is now the normal way to not get any size calculation at all ?

Can't reproduce. :| Can you show a screenshot of your startup list?

As we all can clearly see, the Show Folder Sizes button is pressed. So, what do you expect?

No, that's wrong.
It was only pressed while in every dir I changed into
it was pressed automatically again !

Solution:
I disabled it one folder and restarted XY.
Then I made the current view the default folder view.

I'm now using the new Circles function
but still would prefer an optional use of the Everything SDK size function.

This does not make much sense to me unless you are confusing the Show Folder Sizes button with the Calculate Folder Sizes button.

I only have the Show Folder Sizes button
I don't even know about the other one.
