I hope that I am not hijacking the thread.
My problem is that I can hover just fine but as you can see on the attached - only a fraction of the thumbnails will display.
Is there a setting that can correct all that?

1) Does this also happen in a fresh instance?

2) What do you see in the Preview tab if you add pdf to Configuration | Preview | Previewed Formats | Categories | Preview as Thumbnail?

3) What is your PDF Viewer software?

1 yes (Something other than an XY restart?)

Previews display just fine. I only picked an odd one because your web site does not accept large hi-res pictures - I also wanted to show how in this instance roughly 50% of thumbnails displayed just fine. How can half be OK and the rest are ignored - it should be either all or none.

I agree, it defies logic. So Preview and MDBU are fine, but Hover Box is not? Can't explain it, makes no sense.

My settings match those of Horst shown earlier in this thread. For whatever reason I am not able to change the hover box size - as you describe. I would always set those to max size.
Just added the Right click feature - works great. No change - as you can see the PDF folder.
Hope both will upload..

As you can see this feature is OK

How about an alternate brute force solution where you use the available preview image? Just a thought. I am no expert...

MDBU is not as sharp as a info panel preview, but only with PDFs.

Sorry that you feel that way. I had the idea that it was closely related and that the thread was "almost out of steam."

I believe that common forum etiquette dictates that if a thread is "almost out of steam" one should not hijack it. Perhaps if the OP's thread was many months old, but this is current.

It's too late now to move your posts, so we'll have to live with two different issues trying to get resolved.

I managed to split the topics.

But I did not manage to solve the problem.

Installed Sumatra 32-bit and did a reboot. Result made no difference.
