In which ever location one is show this pc always it's because one can open(go) to other drives immediately if that is shown

You always have access through the breadcrumb.

Don't show it by hovering in the breadcrumb bar but as an element(component) in the breadcrumb bar

@lovely49: So far your posts on this forum have been everything but what your username would suggest. Some of your posts could even be considered as rude. I do hope this is due to English not being your first language.

You have been provided with possible solutions in many cases but seem dead set to have it your way.
Believe it or not but there are other users on this forum who might not like the changes you suggest for XY to behave "your" way.

Anyway, I found the lovely one was right about an inconsistency here. Just as Rapid Access and Network are shown as the first component of the breadcrumb path, so should This PC.

I have to say I really dislike this change, for me I find it completely unnecessary, It just adds clutter and wastes space in the BC, now I can't easily make use of BC whitespace CEA that I regularly use without making the window wider.

For what reason ?
You can already configure it through the Breadcrumb context menu.

I think knowing you are in the Rapid Access node is useful info, whereas for Network less so, but personally I like the way it is currently. I think if you change it, it would probably need to be configurable since it is such a frequently used area.

Agreed, I leave it as it is now.
