XYplorer Beta Club

Not sure whether this is a bug or a problem with my settings, but I've recently noticed that when I close the main XYplorer window while a copying process is still running, it just stops that process as well. I think it used to either keep copying even while the main window was closed or you were asked whether you wanted to close the main window because there was a copying process still running.

I haven't changed anything about my copy settings in years, so I don't know what the problem could be. I'm running version 25.90.0100 on Windows 11.

I see nothing. I close the main window via the X-button and both the main and the copy window simply close without further notice.

Do you need more information?

What kind of copy is that? Custom Copy or shell copy? Foreground or background?

I also filmed what's happening when I close the main window, because it goes by so quickly: I close the main window via the x, the copy window closes on its own, then comes back for a very short moment when it still says "custom copy in progress" (while main window is also still open in the background) and then it changes to "custom copy cancelled" before going away completely along with the main window. All this takes about 24 frames.

Thank you, I'd say that's a clear bug. Background jobs aren't expected to stop when the mother app shuts down. Will be fixed in next beta.
