Suddenly after installing this beta SOME of my Toolbar icons were smaller than others.

It LOOKS like the icons so affected were only the ones coming from the XY program itself. The others - which I used from my own supply of icons extracted from various programs and to indicate programs in the XY toolbar - were unaffected.

I reverted to beta 25.80.309 (downloaded and installed it) and all was restored.

I guessed almost certainly so. The issue is whether this should happen even if you don't want it to - and here I guess almost certainly not.

What SETTINGS would be helpful to know about? Now that I have reverted to .....309 all icons are the same size so a screenshot shows just that.

None of my settings, icon settings included, have been changed between 309 and 310. Only the change to 310 Beta. Moreover, I have not ever that I can remember, set or changed any icon settings in XY.

According to Occam, it HAS to be the change from 309 to 310.

OK - I have 'upgraded' to 310 again and as per OP the size reduction in some icons occurs again. So image of Toolbar attached.

I don't seem to be able to put images or pdfs in this reply. So I guess I will be downgrading to 309 again and be stuck there on 309 unless something else changes.

Nothing is going to change unless Don can reproduce the issue. And without answering all of Don's questions, he's not going to be able to reproduce it.

Screenshots are easily attached if you follow the instructions just under the text entry box. Look for the word "attachments."

OK - it happens in 302 (edit: should read 312) as well and going back to 309 gets rid of it.

Thanks phred for pointing out attachments, somehow I missed that late last night.

I still have 'my' problem in 313 and reverting to 309 still fixes it. Again, only ínternal' XY icons are affected. Image of toolbar with small icons in above post along with settings.

Maybe I'm not seeing it properly, but I did download the full unsquashed image and it looks to me that the 2 rows in purple, that you're comparing for size, are the tab bar and the breadcrumb bar(with the hamburger menu).

Sorry I guess you weren't comparing the 2 purple rows. Is the very top row (under the title bar) actually a toolbar line (i.e., toolbar #1, line #1) or is it the Main Menu bar which you can toggle on and off or use CID #1061: from the address bar or use the Help menu > List all commands > Toggle Main menu?

It is definitely the Toolbar. If you right-click it, it has always come up with Customise Toolbar ... Of course right-click now comes up with Show Button etc in addition to Customise Toolbar.
