Is there a way to set a timeout for Xyplorer to exit if there has been no activity in it after "x" minutes?

Not to my knowledge.
No file manager does this
because there is no need at all for such a function.

I have a VeraCrypt encrypted volume with several files. That volume should timeout after "x" minutes of inactive file activity. If one of those files is open in a tab in Xyplorer, it prevents the volume from closing. If Xyplorer is closed, then the volume will close properly. I can force the volume to close, but that has its own potential problems.
