Can't Edit Favorite Folders
For some reason changes I make to Favorite Folders no longer appear after I close the editor. It's like the editor has been set to read only. I've tried running Xyplorer as Administrator with no effect. I've never encountered this problem before. Any help?

Can you show a screenshot of the editor?

Re: Can't Edit Favorite Folders
Looks small but okay. No idea why it would not save.

Re: Can't Edit Favorite Folders
Actually, none of the configurations settings can be changed, not even the size of the Window. No error messages, it just returns to the previous setting after Xyplorer is restarted, It really feels like a configuration file is set to read only.

Re: Can't Edit Favorite Folders
So your initial statement "For some reason changes I make to Favorite Folders no longer appear after I close the editor. " was wrong? You meant to say "... after I close the application"?

Re: Can't Edit Favorite Folders
Yes. If I change a setting for Favorite Folder, it works for that session. Once I close Xyplorer, it resets to its previous setting.

Re: Can't Edit Favorite Folders
So the whole thread is completely misnamed.
Anyway, what happens when you click menu File | Save Settings ?

Wow, that's pretty harsh. I wouldn't call it misnamed. It doesn't matter, anyway. I'm getting help on the problem. Let's leave it at that.
File | Save Settings seems to do exactly that -- saves the settings. I've NEVER had to do that before. So there's an auto save settings somewhere in the configuration menu, I assume?

Just stating the facts.
"Found the setting." Which setting? This one?: Configuration | General | Startup & Exit | Save Settings | Save settings on exit
