5+ years of free updates

Post by Dons »

In 2016 I found XYplorer, I bought the pro version, then renewed it in 2017 and in 2018 purchased the lifetime pro version. Since then I can't count the number of free updates and all the new features. I can't think of anything that has provided the value for the money the way XYplorer has.

Most software I use is either monthly subscription or freeware that hasn't seen an update in a long time. I know i can keep my mouth shut and just go on getting free updates but it feels like it is well past time to kick in some dinero, I want to encourage the continued development efforts.

So, whats the best way? Buy another license? Is there some other preferred way?

I appreciate all the work that has and continues to go into XYplorer, thank you for all the updates and new features!

For me it has been since the Tracker V3 days in 2005, I bought two Lifetime licenses since then, one for my former employer and when I left that job another one for myself.
Fully agree with the OP's sentiments and liked the idea, so I transferred some :cup: /  money as well.
Merry Christmas!
Ralph :)

It would be nice if there was some more appreciation for Don and XY.

Definitely appreciation here on my end and I've already got a few other people onto it who are also very satisfied. On my recent new PC build, which cost me a small fortune, XY is far the best addition to my build and is without a doubt my favorite application. Somehow it makes me feel that I a have super power over non XY users.

I was thinking the appreciation would come with $$ - like the others in this thread!

We all paid for a license (most of us I hope anyway) and how one further expresses their appreciation (kind words or :cup:  ) should be left to everyone to decide for themselves.

Yes, I'm right there with you!! Bought into TrackerV3 in 2005 also. Wow, 19 years. 19 years and I've been using this amazing product every single day. Literally every day. I used to frequent the forums and provide my input...now I just upgrade whenever there's a new version and continue on with life.

It's about time I said thank you again, so THANK YOU Don! You make a lot of our lives easier and more productive with your work. I just PayPal'd you some coffee money. Stay warm and keep up the great work!
