Thumbnails for certain formats.

Post by Skettalee »

I have realized recently when doing graphic work that there are certain file formats that havent been showing screenshots inside of Xyplorer. So far what I notice is Adobe Illustrator .Ai and Scaleable Vector Graphics .svg aren't showing the images but they are showing up fine in Windows Explorer. Anything I can do about that in Xyplorer? Also If i mouse down or open Preview in any way then those images without the thumbnails working are visible there, just not regular. Screenshots attached:

Run this from address bar

extlist("thumbs64", "ai.eps.svg", "a");

refresh thumbs afterwards if necessary.

I have similar problems but for me targa files (tga) with transparency are shown with ugly black background, this is annoying since in vanilla explorer and files manager both shows tga files with transparency in folder view. Somereason I can't upload tga file here to test but you can try it with any tga downloaded from net that has transparent background.

Wrap the file in a zip and attach it.

What background do you have in mind instead of black?

Oh, it was the real deal, very early 1960's. Like a dope I sold it for around $200 after college around 1973. It was a nice sunburst color with a light maple neck, far from pristine with lots of scratches and wear, but dam I sure wish I still had it.

I have this problem also ... mouseover on an .AI file shows a red popup infobox with "Cannot Decode" :veryconfused:

I tried running the below script, and a couple variations, but it had no effect ...
