Hi,

Since 2 week i was searching why my network folder doesn't appear anymore in xyplorer without understanding what i had change in my configuration.

And i finally found the problem, it appear with the 25.xx version !

A picture is better to explain, ( same computer, just install the older version 24.90.0100 to test, and bingo, all network drive appear again ) :

(obviously, same xyplorer config file)

BTW thanks for this great software !

Configuration > General > Safety Belts, Network > Network > cache network servers -> YES

Folder visible and accessible in windows explorer : YES

reinstalling v25.xx over 24.xx my shared folder are still visible, no tested after reboot for the moment

Are you sure this thread doesn't apply to your situation?

The only solution of the another thread is the reg modification, but :

• why i have the same problem on two different machine ?

• why the problem magically disapear with the 24.xx version ?

my UAC is disabled.

Because the mappings have been created without that reg key

Good question. Try the solution. If it works, Don (the programmer) has to find out why XY behaves differently with v24...

Réseau (Network) appears in both screenshots. So, what exactly is the problem?

Yes reseau appear, but not the shared folder

Here is a capture of xyplorer ( 1) beside windows explorer (2), none of shared folder shown in xyplorer

EDIT :

So tried the : (did NOT deleted share before adding the key)

instantly, xyplorer show the shared folder, confirmed after reboot.

So the question is :
does the problem appear with 25.xx version, or it's a windows update (KB) that create this strange behaviour ?

So it works now, good. No, I don't think anything related to this has changed in XY recently.
