Hi all,

I use some dialogs a lot, e.g. "Move (files) to other pane". Having long paths, shown location, source and target are wrapped. I resize the dialog to read the infos better (and perform the action).

Next time I invoke same operation, the dialog opens in its initial size / dimensions, but not the resized dimensions. Then I have to resize the dialog again (and again) for better readability.

Is it possible to remember the resized dimensions, at least for the current session of XYplorer? Not storing dimensions permanently (between sessions) would prevent to save infos in XYplorer's ini file. Or did I miss any option I have to enable?

Try File - Save Settings, as a start.

XY has LOTS of special settings to save and is almost infinitely customizable it seems but see if my suggestion helps any.

Please excuse the big picture dimensions. The file names and comments should hopefully explain details.

I could just make it a little bigger by default.

Testing in 25.00.0109, the dialog is not only (statically) "a little bigger by default", it seems it resizes dynamically as needed. I like this! Thanks so much!

It resized dynamically before as well, but the upper limit was smaller. Glad you like it now.
