Network Drives Missing On Reboot

XY ver: 25.00.0100
Win 11 22H2
Rebooted two days ago and I when I started XY all my network drives/links were missing; they show up in File Explore. I reset all the drives in XY (Map Network Drives) and all was fine, I even shut down and restarted XY and the network drives were there. I just rebooted this morning and the network drives were missing again. Only seems to happen on a reboot.
Thanks

Have you enabled this?
Configuration > General > Safety Belts, Network > Network > cache network servers

@phred, thanks for the suggestion. Tried checking "Cache Network Servers" and it didn't work. I rebooted and mapped network drives were gone again

When mapping the drives initially, did you tick the box "Reconnect at sign-in" as shown below?

Sorry jtruchon, that's the only suggestion I have. Although I admit I should've mentioned what RalphM mentioned and hope it's that simple a fix.

Yes, "Reconnect" is checked, and when I reboot the network drives are connected and show in File Explorer. This is very strange, been using XY for years and never had this problem. The only things that changed is the Win 11 update: 2023-09 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5030310). Maybe this is the issue.
Thanks

I think I'm seeing the same thing after rebooting after the latest Windows (10) update pushed this past tuesday.
Drives are mapped in Windows, and show up in Explorer, but trying to access e.g. X:\, Y:\, Z:\ fails in XYplorer, while using the UNC path instead works.

That means you are running XY with a different user account
as the one which maps the drives.

But you can access the drive letters in Windows Explorer?
If yes, to resolve that problem:
Fully remove the mapped drives
Add this registry key via an
elevated command prompt:
Code: Select all
REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System" /v "EnableLinkedConnections" /t REG_DWORD /d "0x00000001" /f
Reboot
Recreate the mappings
Try it again in XY...

@highend, Thank you, adding the Registry Key fixed it for me. Rebooted and XY is showing map drive

Hi everybody,
My first post here.
I played with XYplorer trial for a few days and decided to buy lifetime license. It is awesome file manager.
XY version: 26.40.0400
Windows 10 EDU 22H2
And I got the same issue discussed in this thread. I also applied registry key. But it does not help. So, this is how it goes.
I boot my computer. I have 10 mapped network drives. When I open XY they don't show. While XY is open I then open Windows' File Explorer and those mapped drives show in XY.
Any suggestion about what else to do?
TIA

Welcome to the club!
Try checking this (why wasn't this mentioned earlier in the thread?): Configuration | General | Startup & Exit | Reconnect mapped network drives at startup

And you rebooted and redid the mappings afterwards?

I think I missed that part. I will try again.
