Just about every tool out there has a search and replace.

XYPlorer should not need to have users create a "script" just to do a simple search and replace through files.

Maybe the 'script-ability' of XY militates against it having this and other features common in the competition?

A size manager for instance, and a Toolbar you can drag shortcuts on to (The Catalogue, I know - but its not as convenient).

XY is still way in front in my view, but .....

What do you mean by Search and Replace?

There is function for this in File>Rename Special>Search and Replace

That is not the topic.
The request is to change file contents, not the names.

If that is the case, we are rather looking at editors and not file managers IMO.

None of the popular file managers have this.

That's a job for an Editor, and all editors I know have it.
