View settings not respected

Hi everybody,
There's something I don't get...
I saved settings with direct access to folder "downloads" with thumbnails 64x64
But when I use the "back" button, it comes back to "details" view !
How to solve this ??

You probably have defined a default folder view (which gets applied to that folder automatically the next time you open it).
So visit it again, apply your view mode change, menu - view - folder view settings - save folder view
Save your settings again
