Tweak to set nbr of list lines on max IP size?

Simple one: I'd like a minimal ability to define to number of detail list lines shown on "max" Info Panel...it presently is set at two, which is fine in most cases, but the rest of the time, I often have to deal with 3 to 4 files as a set...and two lines makes that just a tad difficult.

So if that could be adjusted (maybe up max of 5 or so?), I could then have "Last Size" set somewhere in the 12-15 range, and thus have (in my case), for example: 4, 12, 24, 34 lines showing for Max, Last, Std, None respectively.

I use the max setting to have the Preview showing as much as possible, but I'd rather give up the space for a line or two to List to make that aspect better.

And yes, I could drag the split line to open more room, but I'm finding I have to do it so often that it's becoming a minor irritation.

That's not possible (easily). The minimal list height also indirectly controls the minimal window height (top bars + min listheight + statusbar + min panel height), which again has effects on the height of tree and catalog. It's all a tight net of interrelations.

It's also difficult to express it in the number of lines since that depends on the font and font size.

Ok...help me understand this a bit more, please...so is the minimal size of list (thus maximized IP) stored as number of pixels then? Because it appeared to always show two detail lines, or is that just when font is default so you know how many pixels that is, and set accordingly?

If it's pixels, then what would work instead is simply a way to apply a user offset (or just a substitute value totally) to that, as in row height, so that I as user could set it as one presently sets the 'Last Size" split position, and not have it stored as hard-coded value totally.

The basic idea still being that one could never have less list showing than now at 'Max IP' but may wish to have it be more detail/less IP as the 'Last IP' now gives, and then the 'Last IP' could be set (dragged) based on it to show even more list lines.

I seem to recall, way back when, the 'Max IP' only showed one detail line and we bumped it to two...I'm just wanting a tweak to make it more than two...and if based on font size, it becomes 3.14 lines, well, then it's up to me to adjust the pixel count to make it 3 or 4 lines, right?

Okay, it could work but I don't see it worth the pain. If I add it, other users will ask for a tweak to configure the minimal catalog or tree height, etc. The number of tweaks should be kept small.

While I agree tweaks should be kept minimal, that's why I asked for it as such, as I didn't see it rising to level of Config opt...but...as it is now, it causes me a small bit of pain, as I can't easily use "Max IP" in these cases due to need to have about 4 detail lines showing as I'm working on these files as a set...and I have "Last IP" set to show about 12 lines for other cases, and constantly moving split line gets to be a nuisance also.

Hopefully maybe someone else will have same issue/need and that will help my cause... :(

But putting the total pixel value into INI as, for example, "SplitPos" is now instead of a hard-coded value doesn't strike me as that complex, though I have no clue as to if it's really equivalant to that or not...
