Hi, if i apply labels on the files with xyplorer software, what if the system corrupted and if i reinstall the windows operating system, then i install xyplorer, after reinstalling the OS and xyplorer will it show me previously labeled files in xyplorer ?

If you have a backup of your tag.dat that you can put back into the xy data folder? Sure

Using backup software, I have three backups: one every 30 minutes after tag.dat file has been changed, one from a day ago, and one from three days ago. (You can write script to backup via CEA.)
It is safer to write to Alternate Data Streams.
