Custom copy merge folder

When I custom copy folders with several layers of sub-folders, I get asked when the top folder clashes but not for the folders layered beneath. It seems to have started with version 24.50. I have the 'on name collisions ask' option checked as well as 'ask before merging folders'. I get asked when there is a file collision but not given the option to merge or skip sub-folders.

I don't think it's ever been any different. You are asked once if you want to merge folders, and if you say YES, it does it. Why would it ask for subfolders again?

I have a folder called x, which itself holds a folder called a. I then move folder x into a folder called storage, which itself holds a folder x, which also contains a folder a. Previously the collision between the two folders x was highlighted, and then the collision between the two folders a was also highlighted. Often I have files in the 'a' folders that I want to keep separate, and appreciated the option to be alerted of the collision so that I could skip that move and rename the folder. That has now stopped.
It would be good to have a fix, because I often also have folders b, c, d etc where I might want to merge some of them but want others to be renamed. I do have workarounds but the previous way was much quicker
Appreciate your thoughts

Can you show a screenshot of the collision prompt?

Sorry - I have the screenshots but not sure how to post them - can you advise?

Ah - obvious - that was a bit embarrassing, but your quick response is appreciated
Screenshots show the copying of folder 'x' into the folder 'storage'. The first collision (folder x) is recognised but the sub-folders 'a' are merged without warning, although there is a warning that the files within 'a' have the same name

Thank you for the shots, although there is nothing new for me in them. I think I understand what you mean. And I have already replied to it:
viewtopic.php?p=212166#p212166 I still don't think the behavior was different in any previous version.
By the way, I see that one of the captions is cropped. What font and font size do you use for Buttons and Labels?
I fixed it now.

Ok, thanks for looking into it and being so prompt with your replies - the support of this forum is one of the reasons why xyplorer is so popular
I'm certainly not going to argue the point but I do have to beg to differ - it was quite a surprise when folders began to merge without warning, and I had to spend quite a bit of time sorting out folder contents. Not to worry, now that I know I can use a workaround which is only slightly less quick, and xyplorer is still the (nearly) perfect file manager

If you give me a version number where the "Merge Folders" prompt is shown again for each subfolder I will look into it.

Bizarre - I guess as you expected, I can't replicate, even using a version going back to the beginning of 2022. I know that I used to be able to do it but the versions don't lie. I'm thoroughly baffled but have to accept the evidence. This is probably too niche a request to go on the wish-list, but I do really appreciate you taking the time to look into this - huge thanks
