IF < folder contains only xyz-file-types> use X-view, ELSE use default view

Hi
I work a lot with images, but have list view as default for my system. So I change my image folders to thumbnail view and save FVS individually. Works, but a bit tiresome.
What about a feature, that goes something like this:
IF folder contains only these file types (user can define somewhere), use this folder view (user can define somwhere); ELSE use default view.
In my case that would be: IF folder contains only .jpg, .tif, .png, use thumbnail 3; ELSE use default view
But I am sure other users have other use cases, so it would be cool to have a place somwhere to define one or more of these conditions.
Thanks
