hi!
i have several orphaned tags on local (deleted, missing folders) and removable drives (not connected).
to remove them i use this :

• Configuration | Information | Tags | Options... | Database Check | Check fixed drives only is UNCHECKED

this works perfectly. the orphaned tags are removed.

however, if i attempt to remove them using this method :

• Tools | List Management | Tagged Items

• manually select the orphaned tags (icon for these entries is a circled question mark),

• click Delete (they are removed from the list),

• click OK,

the status bar shows "no saving required: Tags"
if i go back into the "List Management - Tagged Items" dialog box, the orphaned tag entries are still shown and have NOT been removed.
