Hi Donald
Should the context menues "Move to...", "Copy to..." and "Backup to..." all keep track of their own list of target directories?
It seems to me, that Copy and Backup share one list.
It would be nice, if you could add a menue entry in all of them to access the favorites directly.
Thanks

That's right. Since more than 5 years now, and nobody ever complained, so I think it's fine with most users.

Yes, that'd be cool. I put it on my list.

Was just wondering how far from the top of your list that might be?

Quite far
I actually did some experiments months ago with a cool idea I had for this, but they failed. Now I'm waiting for the next cool idea...

Well I didn't expect this wish to take more cool ideas than the initial one, that it would be cool to have direct access to the favourites from there.
But I'll keep my fingers crossed for cool ideas on your side then...

Well I'm sure that's true, but your users have to get their satisfaction from "what" they see - for the limited access to the inside beauty, don't we?
Like the new "beautiful" improvements you made with 4.00.0174 and since the subject was close to my context menu wish, I was wondering, if you had any new cool ideas to solve that one too?

Here's an uncool idea: Favorites can contain
all tree nodes including stuff like MyComputer and Nethood, which cannot be targets for file operations. So, Favorites don't belong into Copy To etc., sorry for you.

But wouldn't it be an easy task to either set these favorites inactive or create an error message if a wrong target is selected from the favorites?

I'm not giving up yet, 'cos I still think it's a cool idea nevertheless, and therefore worth some more thoughts.
BTW Nobody out there with an opinion about this?

I sure will, just did for the first time.
Thanks Donald, once again you did an absolutely awesome job.
Keep up the good work.
P.S.: Just discovered the "toggle favorite files" - another nice feature.
Did you mention somewhere that you already did implement it and I missed it, or was this meant as a surprise?
