Mobile Hoverbox switches represented in Customize List.

Post by eil »

I like that Hoverbox old R switch is changed in L and R, plus there is now K added, but as this switches aren't represented anywhere sometimes it's easy to forget the key. Maybe it's just me, but when i forget where is any option, there are 2 places i check primary: Help > List all Commands and Tools > Configuration > Jump to settings. As this К switch was nowhere to find, i already several times was confused i couldn't find how to turn off hoverbox image resizing. And as now there are more switches, they deserve to be finable via one of those mentioned option searches.
So adding a sub menu with 3 check-switches in Customize List menu, could be neat to have.

I tend to forget this all the time, but hitting F1 when the hover box is displayed brings up the list of all hover box switches including the new "K" and updated "L" and "R".

Damn, here's another "unknown technology"(F1 when hoverbox) that i not only didn't know about, but yet again easy to forget it is there.
After knowing that there are not only 3 switch-keys, the idea of submenu seems to be even more proper. Not only that will allow to find switches via command search, yet will allow to switch them via scripting(#numbers).

Shame. How about at least adding some tip about F1 help in hoverbox?
It may sound strange, but as i 3 times already forgot R was controlling resize, and didn't even know about F1, after some time i'll have a question how to change switches again. And i doubt i'm so unique, most users don't even know about those hoverbox switches, as UI doesn't show any hint.

Maybe just a hint.
While the Hover Box is showing you can press the "F1" key to show a list of all the available special keys listed here above.

Ok, I agree that these beauties are too hidden. But the hint takes up more space (and more translation resources) than a simple Tips button. I'll go with the button.
