ColorCode for "empty" folder?
Re: ColorCode for "empty" folder?
Is there any way to remove or change the spacing (padding) around the names, visible either when there is a background or when selected with a clear/no background?
Re: ColorCode for "empty" folder?
How great and it works fine Thanks a lot!!!

Re: ColorCode for "empty" folder?
I would need a lot more info to answer that for sure. But the answer will most likely be NO.

Re: ColorCode for "empty" folder?
Assuming that was regarding my question, the block seems to extend a good bit beyond the name, making it look off-center in Thumbnail views. When setting it to "as wide as the column" (not desired but just to check), it's uneven also. Default configuration otherwise:
Re: ColorCode for "empty" folder?
Don, I can't remember if there's a setting affecting this (i.e., that extra space) or not. The space is beyond the highlight for selected file.
Oh, that's right, it's the color filter - so you'd know if the filter is applied even when the file is selected - so its color extends one space beyond the highlight color.

Yes, I see it now. It can be improved indeed!avivariba wrote: ↑27 Apr 2023 15:42Assuming that was regarding my question, the block seems to extend a good bit beyond the name, making it look off-center in Thumbnail views. Re: ColorCode for "empty" folder?
No Don, not really. I was just explaining why the block goes beyond the name. It's more obvious as to why in list or detailed views, but it does look a bit odd in a thumbnail view as avivariba showed in the post.avivariba posted:

Re: ColorCode for "empty" folder?
Hi Don, with v24.30.0127, I'm not sure if you can see this faint line through the last "e" in the folder name "complete". When I first enter a folder in a thumbnail view, I can see that faint vertical line. The color filter is:
B:prop:#empty:2;B:prop:#contains.desktop.ini:1 AND B:prop:#itemcount:1|pf //s-shape, w-wide, f-frame,b-2pixels
When I first "apply" the filter via Configuration it's not seen until I close the Configuration dialog or when I re-enter the folder. Is it a focus type remnant? If I click on another folder or file, the line disappears. I see no such line anywhere if I disable that color filter. Windows 11, 23H2 Build 22631.3447 at 100% 2560x1440

Looking good Don. Thanks.

Re: ColorCode for "empty" folder?
@Don: Could this change you made have affected Details view too? because before when a column was truncated I still used to be able to see the color filter distinctive shapes poking out when a file was selected, this is no longer the case.
eg. bottom image is old version, top is current situation:

I assume this is unticked: Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Usability | Mouse | Full name column select ?
PS: Whatever, fixed it.

Re: ColorCode for "empty" folder?
Hi Don, certainly not something important to me but I figured I'd point it out. I noticed that there is still a remnant focus line for the first folder in the list panel when the main folder is selected in the tree. As soon as you select anything else in the list panel the line is gone as seen in the second screen shot. Both of those folders are empty or only contain the desktop in file as discussed, a couple of weeks ago (i.e., folder empty visual filter). It's probably just the focus indicator, which is as far as I'm concerned, fine left as is. viewtopic.php?p=210646#p210646

You see a focus line in the list when the tree has the focus? Cannot reproduce.
