colored labels not visible in Thumbnail view

Hey - so I've been making use of color labels quite extensively, but I just realized that when in Thumbnail view mode the colored labels are not visible, it's just regular thumbnails, so I can only see them in list view mode. Is there any way to visualize the labels in thumbnail view? Like make the thumbnail's background change color based on its label?

You need to show captions, and have Overlay Captions disabled.
Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails | Show caption
