When does it crash, and when did you buy a license?
Sometimes it was RTE, I think it was Debug 10 or something but am really now not sure. Once it was just a Win message "Program is not functioning anymore, close or debug?".Always out of the blue. Just had it open on one (remote) screen (normal folder currently) without doing anything and magically these things happened. When RTE was shown I once had to close the RTE interface several times in a row, since it was immediately reappearing again. Sorry not to have more details. Am in a great hurry currently.
(And my and my office licenses are old and lifetime, if you think of that.)
