Problem with drag & drop in Win 11

The latest version(s) of XY seems to have a problem with drag & drop in Win 11 22H2. Video files cannot be drag & dropped to e.g. VideoProc Converter program, whilst when dragging them from system Explorer they can. Anybody encountering this problem?

I'm using Windows 10 and I have the same problem. What should I do? How can I revert to the previous version of the program?

Older versions are available here: https://www.xyplorer.com/freezer.php

Nothing was changed recently concerning drag & drop AFAIK. Weird. :|

I can confirm this problem in the actual version.
When I drag to the media player icon in the taskbar while its running
the player is brought to the foreground and I can drop the video into it.
This works in Total Commander and in Windows Explorer
but not from XY.
In XY the last step to drop isn't possible, the stop symbol is shown
while the cursor is over the media player.

Using Macrium Reflect automated hourly drive backup, I was able to determine that the last XY version where the D&D functionality worked OK and to which I updated was v 24.20.0303. I have not tested v 24.20.0304, as I missed it. All later versions, starting with 24.20.0305, show problem when attempting a drag & drop of files to another app. This could have possibly happened by introducing some change in the program's code, which affected - perhaps even indirectly - the XY's drag & drop performance.

The latest 24.20.0400 introduces a drag/drop problem on Windows 10 where I cannot drag & drop images to Word documents anymore - it drops the first image I try, but subsequent images fail to be dropped and results in a nasty cursor flickering issue. I had to downgrade to 0300, lucky I had the installer since the freezer doesn't have that version anymore :-(

You don't need the freezer anymore (at least not for releases ~2 years ago), you can directly download them from the beta section

Awesomeness - I wasn't aware of the beta section, thanks so much!

Thanks so much, I confirm it works now!

Quick question, though: why is there no way to select the update channel? Like if I want to include beta updates or not when XYplorer updates itself... it's much easier than finding the beta section, and I've seen this design implemented in other software as well.

Nobody ever asked for it. :) I'll add it.

I guess there's a first for anything haha - thank you so much for being so receptive to new feature requests :)

I must say, out of all the software I purchased XYplorer is by far the best investment I have made as I use it like crazy on a daily basis and therefore I simply cannot live without it anymore! OK, stopping the off-topic now :P
