If you have cache enabled you will probably need to View | Caches | Refresh Thumbnails

hmmm i wonder where the conflict is coming from then, i deleted all my thumbnail cache aswell

sorry for late response, just tried, in preview panel it says "cannot decode"
but all of the rest of the files in my test folder, including
dng
cr2
psd
psb
arw
other lower res jpgs
generate no problem
