Drive error

Hi, first post.. I recently purchased XYplorer and right away had strange time with it.
If I open my system drive properties -> Tools -> Error checking -> Scan drive through XYplorer, Windows states that my drive has an error and does not give an option to scan the drive. However no errors are detected by chkdsk and smart status for system disk is fine. I spent some time trying to understand what's going on until I tried to do the same thing with native file explorer. The properties dialog has one more tab when opened through native file explorer ("hardware") and checking the disk gives no errors and lets me scan my c: drive..
So I presume xyplorer does not open disk properties the same way windows file explorer does? What's going on?
I'm using Windows 10, 64 bit.
Cheers.
