Also, you do mean clicking directly on the items, not using the selection rectangle (click & drag), correct?
Is this the last/latest free version of XY, or why would you use such an old version, if most of us are using the current 7.60.0037 beta?tnshibu wrote:... version 7.0.0
Multiple selections with the selection rectangle is a bit of an odd case.RalphM wrote:Is this the last/latest free version of XY, or why would you use such an old version, if most of us are using the current 7.60.0037 beta?tnshibu wrote:... version 7.0.0
So, if you're really on that version, you might not have most of the functionality we are talking about in the forums and some tips you get might not work in a version that far back...
is that true?TheQwerty wrote:Multiple selections with the selection rectangle is a bit of an odd case.
Don has it implemented and working on the Detail views, but he unfortunately hasn't added it for the other views.
I suppose my wording wasn't clear. I mean multiple selections, not selecting multiple items. The selection rectangle works, but you can't use modifiers with it in the other views. You can use it to make a selection but you can't use it to adjust the current selection.Muroph wrote:is that true?TheQwerty wrote:Multiple selections with the selection rectangle is a bit of an odd case.

Or at least I've never been able to do so.
