Hello, with last tested version v24.00.0706 - and at least the two previous - I meet a problem : when I move a file, after the job is finished the job window is freezing two or three seconds, closes and then it’s XYPlorer that is freezing for a little duration.
I went back to v24.00.0700 and the freezings do not occur.

No, I did not check the new settings

The background job window ? The window showing the operation being done.

I will try in some days the beta versions to see if the problem is still here for me.

I think I found the reason of the freezing. One directory involved has some psd file that causes problem with thumbnail creation - so the freezing.

So the destination of the move operation was currently listed, and in thumbnails view, and you were moving images, and it was then creating thumbnails for the new images (which is clearly shown in the status bar) while you were experiencing a "freeze after move"?

Not exactly : each time I opened the direction directory , XY tried to create a thumbnail for this particular file without any success (it may be corrupted, I did not check for the moment). After putting this file in another directory, there is no more freezing when I move files in destination directory.
