Breadcrumb Bar drop-down menu trouble

Post by yuyu »

When selecting any item from the Breadcrumb Bar leftmost drop-down menu (where Computer, Links and drives are listed) no target opens. "Location currently not available" is shown instead.
P.S. I checked some past versions and it seems to start from v23.90.0405.

When you right click on a drive or triangle on the Breadcrumb bar, do you have "custom menu" selected. You will not see a drop down of the triangle separators if "standard menu" is selected.

I figured out that it happens only if "Custom Menu" or "Colored Menu" for Breadcrumb Bar is selected. It works as expected when "Standard Menu" is selected.
I'm on Win7 if this matters.

It turned out that my problem happens only with "Custom" or "Colored" menu. Everything works fine when "Standard Menu" is selected.
And I have drop downs with "Standard Menu" also.

When you right click the menu item and do Copy Path, what is copied to the clipboard?

I thought so and totally unexplainable. :veryconfused:

But it should be fixed in v23.90.0431 anyway, is it?

I can explain it now. It was some special adjustment to old non-themed Windows, an extra spacing between icon and caption which interfered with a certain extra routine that became necessary to support OneDrive folders. Nasty nasty, how the past can screw the present.
