XY - v23.80.0302
The result set will not sort ascending or descending on the "Path" (column) of 929 folders (from an folders only all locations). However, "Name" column appears to sort correctly.

Re: Find Files (Info Panel)
Looks like it's secondary-sorted by Path. So it's okay as it is.

Re: Find Files (Info Panel)
Is this behavior caused by "Sort Folders Apart = Enabled" (secondary sorting) setting?

It would be easier to explain if you showed the whole list in your screenshot.

Re: Find Files (Info Panel)
I'd expect to see the Find File order by:
Path ^ | Name
TEST FOLDER 1 | NESTED FOLDER A
TEST FOLDER 2 | NESTED FOLDER A
TEST FOLDER 4 | NESTED FOLDER A
TEST FOLDER 1 | NESTED FOLDER B
TEST FOLDER 2 | NESTED FOLDER B
TEST FOLDER 4 | NESTED FOLDER B
TEST FOLDER 1 | NESTED FOLDER C
TEST FOLDER 2 | NESTED FOLDER C
TEST FOLDER 4 | NESTED FOLDER C
But I get:
ASCENDING (JUST CLICKING THE COLUMN "PATH":
DESCENDING (JUST CLICKING THE COLUMN "PATH":
I cannot figure out what is being sorted and the methodology. Obviously, I'm not understanding it. If there was a multi-level sort by, sort by, it would be represented visually in the column heading as to 'see' the sorting effect.

Re: Find Files (Info Panel)
I would not expect this order, and I don't get it. I get this (and I would expect it): And this when I sort by Name:Zardoz2293 wrote: ↑20 Dec 2022 00:56 I'd expect to see the Find File order by:

Re: Find Files (Info Panel)
Not sure why I had:
"Configuration > General > Sort and Rename > Sort > Sort folders always ascending = ENABLED"
Obviously, It's time for me to go through the entire Configuration settings and re-educate myself.
Thank you!
