I work with images a lot and really like xyplorer because of the thumbnail options and general customizability.
However colors are slightly off, the same as win explorer.
A win system with a display profile installed will display colors correctly in the windows image viewer and of course in Adobe Bridge.

So it would be great, if xyplorer could also display the colors correctly like Adobe Bridge does.

Attached is a screenshot where I placed all the applications right next to each other for comparison and then captured the screen. The image in the applications is in srgb color space. Most obvious difference in the skin tones.

Not really sure what's up with correct/incorrect colors, but just as a variant, have you tried changing thumb creation quality? Maybe some fast creating variant does visual changes for you.

Makes no difference.
Also the fact, that the mismatch is exactly the same mismatch as in win explorer points to a problem with the use of profiles.
Winexplorer apparently has a problem with wide gamut displays, which I have - that's probably the most likely source of the problem.

The simple answer: afaik, XYplorer doesn't use the Windows Color System nor employs it's one tone mapping when rendering.

The better answer: color management is complex.

Usually, for sRGB and the vast majority of images manipulated in the sRGB work space this problem can be sufficiently reduced by monitor calibration (software calibration is ok). This should generally (aka again for the majority of RGB images) render XYplorers output more similar to Abode Bridge's.
