Thumbnails W7 vs W10

Realizing that maybe W7 was obsolete and didn't warrant too much time, I tried migrating to W10.
On a brand new version of XY (Windows 10), changed a few settings (size of the thumbs, no thumbs rotation)
No thumbnails cache.
Windows 10 screen capture (good)

Same exact files (copy)
Same exact XYplorer (copy)
Windows 7 screen capture (not good)

Could anybody please tell me what the problem is ?

Did you already try to refresh the thumbs (Ctrl+Alt+F5)?

Not sure if it was needed since I disabled thumbnails cache but refreshing (#501) didn't change anything.

It refreshes the state in memory.
Anyway, if you preview those images, eg. by F11, do you see the same strange effect?

Sorry I missed your reply.
The only thing affected by this strange behavior are the thumbnails.
F11 or hover box display the photo correctly.
I don't know if you noticed but part of the thumbnail comes from the "horizontal" photo before the "vertical" ones.
If there is only "vertical" photos that part is black.
Capture after deleting the "horizontal" photos and restarting XY.

Is this a new problem with the recent beta versions? Or can you replicate it with
https://www.xyplorer.com/freezer.php?ver=23.60.0100 ?

Tried 23.60.0100 then went back in time... 17.50.0200 already showed the same behavior.
It's a problem I just noticed because my settings were different (thumbnails quality set to Fast when the factory default is High Speed).

So it only happens when thumbnails quality is set to Fast, right?

No....
Fast is OK
Crisp is OK
Smooth is OK
High Speed (factory default) is NOT OK

I cannot reproduce it with any setting. So I cannot do anything.

It seems I'm out of luck using XY for my photos management under W7.
Back to XnView until I migrate.
Thanks for your efforts.
