OneDrive with large local folders

I am having quite a few "glitches" with XYPlorer when working with OneDrive folders that have large numbers of PDFs in them (like between 1 and 4 thousand), even though the folders are all defined to OneDrive to be retained on my local hard drive in addition to the OneDrive servers.
It's hard to describe all the "glitches" because I am having difficulty reproducing some of them, but this is one example that I am able to reproduce. I suspect that the issue underlying this "glitch" may be the same one causing my other problems.
This video demonstrates the "glitch"
I have 1,331 files in the folder and I am trying to find a pattern that contains "A - ".
Typing "A - " in the live filter box only filters the files containing the letter "a".
If I backspace to the "A", wait for it to filter, then add the " - " the filter works as expected
If I move the cursor back to the "A" in the filter box, backspace it out and replace it with the letter "B" the filter only shows files that contain the string " - "
Again, if I backspace to the letter "B", wait for the filter to complete, then add the " -" the filter works as expected
When I clear the filter it takes an unreasonably long time for the list of files to draw, considering that the files are located on my local fast solid state disk.
I hope this video will help you understand what is happening and find a resultion to the problem.
