Hi
I had left XY for this problem and was waiting for the new version which, I had read, would solve the problem. Unfortunately the problem is still there I also disabled the preview for Office files, as I had read, but nothing changes. I also reinstalled Win and, on the clean system, I tried XY but the same message appears

What about telling us when this happens?

It is hard to remember exactly when but it seems like a few months ago I started getting a message like action cannot be completed because file is busy in another app during moves and copies using XY's own move algorithm. Odd thing, every time i could open up xplorer2, the built-in file manager, or explorer++, or Q-Dir and complete the same move successfully. It has become so frequent that I stopped using XY as my go-to.
Simultaneously, I noticed XY locking up on me.
If you have a built-in script that automatically records and sends you crash information or an application log, tell me how and i will turn it on. If not, you might want to build something like that because it is near impossible for a user to remember exactly what all was going on, other than no other app is having that problem.
I was very impressed how stable XY was when i first started using it but no more.
The only thing I can think to do at my end is to either turn off XY's proprietary copy and move dialog, or install successively older versions until I notice the problem is gone.
Currently I am using 23.70.0222
It would be really nice if when a lock up or crash happens a user could hit one button and crash report with logs and system configuration was produced and automatically queued to be emailed to you with a chance to add our comments.
