Color Filters using & at ending (name:)

I am not seeing a restriction on using the "&" (Ampersand) in a color filter in XY help documentation.
Example: name: "*&" (apply some color attribute to filename) == doesn't work.
I would expect to have only files which END with an (&) Ampersand to have the color filter applied. I can get name: & which works, but I only desire those files applied with the color filter which END with an (&) Ampersand (not having one or more elsewhere within the filename).
What am I doing incorrectly?
