"Name" box autofill incorrect work

I don't know if it is made by intention, but however it seems to be rather a bug for me. When you input in "Name" box some symbol which differ from the expressions is already there in box, this new symbol does not replace the entire selected row as it is common for Windows OS, but adds itself in the end of the selected text.
Even more, if you remove selection and edit the end of the search query replacing the last word or a part of the last word manually the result is that the whole text of query is duplicated.
I think my explanation is not clear enough, so I'll give you one simple example:
1. Enter any search query, for example: "mister and missis and AAA"
2. Execute this query
3. As you can see, now the whole text of this query is selected.
4. Take selection off (e.g. press an arrow key or press a mouse button) and put the cursor into the end of your previous query and use key [Backspace] to erase the two last letters AA.
5. Begin input some other word, eg. enter symbol b.
6. Now you see, that autofill is executed immediately any you have the following expression in the "Box" name:
mister and missis and aamister and missis and ab.
It may execute this way not every time, but however as a rule. I can't understand why in some cases this does not work in this manner.
NB! It is not a new problem, but it was from beginning of autofill feature. I hoped that somebody else notify about it, but...
