XYcopy taskbar icon

I don't know if this is just my system, by design, or a bug. Why doesn't XYcopy immediately display a taskbar icon? When I start a copy or move action, there is no icon. I have to Alt-Tab to XYcopy, or give focus to something else then minimise it, in order to 'activate' the icon.

Thanks, Don, tried the new beta. The icon now displays immediately when move/copy is on the same drive but not to a different drive.

Are you sure that both are background operations?

Oh geez sorry Don, please forgive my ignorance, but how would I know that? Is it something to do with File Operations > Background Processing in config?

Well, my question was a bit stupid, because if the icon is there (sooner or later) then it MUST be a background process.
Let me ask you this question instead: Are you 100% sure that v23.60.0002 made a difference to earlier versions?

On further investigation, I know what's happening and it's probably been working as expected all along. It didn't even occur to me to that it may have something to do with 'how' I'm doing the copy/move. So, if I use cut/copy/paste keyboard shortcuts or drag'n'drop the icon displays as it should even for different drives. However, if I use a command ID or a script command to copy/move, the icon doesn't show (regardless of drive) unless I Alt+Tab to XYcopy or refocus XYplorer. Sorry for the confusion.

I apologise again. I certainly don't feel good unnecessarily adding to your workload. Thank you for all the awesome work you do.

Sorry Don, forgot to ask, is it possible to have the icon show immediately when using these methods?
