Nope, I cannot invoke the right click menu of the button.

2. if the button has a popup menu to appear, it will be shown at the position of the original button in the toolbar instead of the place in the catalog.

1. You can, but only when right-clicking the icon. (It is mentioned in the next line in Help.)
