What Breadcrumb Bar really deserves is a major feature i.e. to become integrated with the Address Bar one way or the other.

Though I basically agree with Horst about the inherent problem of hidden GUI actions I like the button-less slider toggle very much. So I just turn it into an advanced feature for advanced users and am fine with it.
