Favourite names

I have been using an excellent small program called Program Guide which with a right click on the desktop lists all my favourite folders and by clicking on them takes me straight there. The problem is that it will only open Windows Explorer and so I have to use XY's Favourites. Which does much the same but the long path names are not so handy and I would like is to be able to change them to a name of my own choosing like I could in Folder Guide.

I have not been able to find anything on this and so if it is possible I would appreciate someone letting me know how to do it.

Easy, and relatively new:

Code: Select all

  v7.00.0009 - 2008-04-06 10:28
+++ Favorite Folders/Files: Now, you can optionally define menu
captions for the items. Simply prefix the caption in quotes
(optionally followed by any number of blanks).
      These will work identically:
        "caption" location
        "caption"location
        "caption" location
The place to add captions is menu Tools | List Management | Favorite
      Folders/Files.

Terrific .... that's exactly what I needed! What is also nice is that by leaving say 5 empty spaces between the first " and the name you can get it shown as an indent which makes the display even quicker to read.

Much appreciated! :D
