I unticked/disabled the checkbox

Configuration / File Operations / File Operations / Miscellaneous / "Suppress delete confirmation dialog"

After Apply and OK and exit + Restart of XYplorer v23.00 I tested the deletion of a file ....and.....NO delete confirmation prompt appears

Thats bad.

Why?

I am running Win 10 pro v21h2

Works perfect here.
Btw. we are on XY version 23.10
