XYCopy failure dialog missing from taskbar

This issue keeps happening to me, when the below pictured dialog is shown it doesn't have a taskbar icon, so if you miss the dialog it can get shuffled into the background and then the XY queue is stuck in a "In Progress" state, until the dialog is found in the z-order of open windows, it also can't be Alt-Tabbed to either.
It would be good if it was shown in the taskbar, so you can switch to it again easily after you have fixed whatever caused the dialog without minimizing/moving all you open windows.

I tried to change this but failed. For reasons not understood the window refuses to appear in the taskbar. At least here. Please try the next beta at your place.

Yeah it is the same for me, no taskbar icon still. After further testing I noticed it is the same for the normal Name Collision dialog too, but those I usually act on immediately so don't cause as much of an issue, anyway I assume none of those style dialogs currently allow app-switching then, strange it isn't possible to remedy.
A suggestion, would you be able to add a "Switch To" to the context menu in the queue window? (for "In Progress" jobs only).

1) In the meantime it turned out: Modal windows never appear in the taskbar. It's a Windows law. And making them non-modal is no option ATM.
2) Might be possible, not sure. I'll consider it.

Might not be ideal for you, but you can use a tool like "Window Manager" (
https://www.desksoft.com/WindowManager.htm) or "Actual Window Manager" (
https://www.ActualTools.com) to size and or position windows or child windows, even change z-order, set always on top, etc.

Somewhat contrary to what I've claimed before, it seems to work IF the progress dialog is shown. So you might see XYcopy and all its modal sub-dialogs in the taskbar if you untick Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | No progress dialog on intra-volume moves.

Yeah thanks for the workaround, but that's not for me, too many flashing dialogs, I thought there might of been a way to only display that transfer window underneath the dialog (thus showing the taskbar icon), only when the failure/collision dialog was shown, anyway I guess I will just live with it as is as I have been.
@JLoftus: Thanks for suggestion, but was trying to avoid 3rd party app for this situation.

Not to harp on about this (last question

), but the following dialog shows in the taskbar as XYCopy (no progress dialog obviously), is that because it is a shell dialog, so the shell API does this automatically somehow, or is it just totally different circumstance, and not relatable?

I don't know. I would guess "the shell API does this automatically somehow".
