When the Menu bar is hidden, and you select the User button in the new text toolbar, the icons do not show anymore on the menu and the Options button in the UDC dialog is not working.
When the Menu Bar is showing, the Options button in the UDC dialog is working fine, but there are still no icons.

1) Yes, the non-showing icons is a known issue. Cannot see any fix coming ATM.
2) The Options buttons issue is very strange! I have some programming experience, but this is really insane. It's easy to work-around (next beta), but very hard to understand.

Yes, you're right : when the Menu bar is showing, icons are fine. Sorry about that.
But the Options button definitely won't show the options.

My UDC menus are getting longer and I never use the menu bar anymore since the Menu toolbar exixts.
Could it be possible to show the icons on the menus ?

No, for unknown reasons this seems to be impossible. But you can do everything of UDC also in the Catalog, with icons.
