Problems updating within a limited Windows Account

Updating from 22.60.something
to 22.90
Running Windows 10 x64 Professional V10.00 Build 19044

XYPlorer has been so good updating that I really didn't expect these problems!
Recently I've gone "more secure" by demoting myself to a non-Administrator account, so that malware will have a further obstacle. This was my first update to XYPlorer since that.
Attempting to update through XYPlorer itself got Windows to issue a message saying that for install to Controlled Areas I would need to install "As Administrator". Click "Cancel" and try again... Rather than Log Out and Log In with my Full Administrator account, I opted to download the Update from your website and right click it to install "As Administrator".
XYPlorer was still running, so I got a message "Close running instances of XYPlorer", which I did.

The Result. XYPlorer installed over the old installation. My Registration remains full and correct. However I lost ALL my settings! (And ALL accumulated Thumbnails.) :cry:

Yes - I got back my customised Toolbar with ten custom buttons from a backup. However XYPlorer has been so good at "Seamless Installs" recently that I hadn't done a backup for a while, and so I did loose my more recent customizations on Tabs. (Not too difficult to re-apply.)

Would it be possible to have a button in the "Update" procedure somewhere, to activate installing "As Administrator"?

I notice on the "What's New" page that there are significant changes to the Tool-Bar. Could it be that loosing my settings was deliberate - to allow users to "See" the new changes??? If so, then could you not include in the update process either:-
a) A Warning to make a settings backup first?
b) or an auto settings backup?

Further issues that just may be connected with this install (although I don't know how!)
1) Windows chose this moment to "Accidentally-On-Purpose" forget my selection of "Media Player Classic - HC" for Video Files. I played a few just yesterday, so I know that this happened today! Yes Windows does "Maliciously-on-Purpose" do this from time to time, but this co-incided with the install, so I suspect that it is not just a co-incidence...
2) Windows also chose this moment to maliciously change my choice of "Windows Photo Viewer" to view various Image File Types (for SPEED and lack of superflous features!). This will take some time to change back for each image type. (Curse Microsoft!!!) Other "Default Programs" remained as I have set them.
3) Textpad, which I use in lieu of Notepad had lost some of it's setup. A few of it's Tools, which I have permanently "closed", re-apeared, and needed to be re-closed. I last used Textpad less than an hour before updating XYPlorer... So it must SOMEHOW be connected?

If you change the account your settings might just be at a different place. The standard app data location is:

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\XYplorer
