I want to add archive files to show thumbnails, and then I want to know that's an archive file. I don't like icons on image files. :?

Code: Select all

Thumbs64Ext=afphoto.afdesign.afpub.sldasm.slddrw.sldprt.xar

Norn have you looked at this thread here viewtopic.php?p=111736#p111736. It discusses using CBX Shell to have thumbnails of archives. It works fine.

OK, I couldn't tell from your post what you had done already and what you hadn't.

In any case, I ran a quick test on a zip file containing a jpg file. When I displayed the folder contents in a thumbnail view, I got the jpg picture as the thumbnail for the zip file. I then turned-on "show file icon on thumbnails" and the icon did display on that thumbnail for the zip. Now, as I think you were getting at on your referenced thread, XY doesn't show the zip as a folder but as a file.
Ok, now I see you are you asking Don to show the icon only on archives and not on normal images. Sorry, it was early.

Yes.
I installed DarkThumbs. https://github.com/fire-eggs/DarkThumbs/releases
It looks like an image so I undisplayed the thumbnail of the archive files...

It looks like Dark Thumbs is an updated replacement for CBX Shell. So, if I install Dark Thumbs, I should probably uninstall CBX Shell first.
