I'm curious, will this realization be "the final implementation of dark mode" and XY will never become native dark, or it's just a use of some found Win tricks for the moment?

@ klownboy : The only possible cause for those fields to be empty is an invalid value in the INI file. Did you try some new inventive tweaks? ;)

Nope, this is not "the final implementation of dark mode". Dark mode is work in progress for Microsoft and for me. Let's see who progresses faster. :)

I never touched anything having to do with Undo or action log at least not on purpose. I did look at a fresh copy and the boxes were not blank, so I guess all is well. We'll call it a fluke. Thanks.

my hopes are on your side, as native is always better than dependant on system! :appl: (especially as i can't even check current new dark, 'cause i know nobody using Win10+ :ninja: )

Code: Select all

v25.80.0010 - 2024-04-02 19:37
% Dark Mode: Finally managed to draw dropdowns (aka comboboxes) correctly. Yeah!
      Windows 10 and later only.
Does it look and work well for everyone in Dark Mode on Win10 and later?
You can find many of these comboboxes e.g. on the Configuration | Colors and Styles | Highlights & Dark Mode page.

OK, looks like there is a little quirk in the logic.

But when you turn on the dark mode, do the dropdowns look perfect now?
